A suggestion from Together Gardening
Something that has worked in the past is to find three or four other willing folks that live near by - share houses/families - and rotate the gardening bee every few months between the four to five different houses.
When it’s your turn hosting the bee, put on a nice lunch and ask everyone to bring a plate to share. There are no rules, but a delightful part of this working bee is the opportunity to share skills and make new friends and this can be enriched easily when sharing a meal.
Being the attendees, bring your gardening tools and an enthusiastic happy attitude that’s ready to get physical, hands dirty and plate to share.
So how are you going to meet up with these other like minded folks?
